How is the VICON Method programmed? Why the ABA methodology?

The Applied Behavioral Analysis (ACA/ABA) methodology is the only scientifically proven effective treatment for children with ASD and PDD. It is a treatment that focuses on the application of basic behavioral principles to significant behaviors in children. Behavior itself as the objective of change.
ABA is the treatment in the branch of psychology that has provided the greatest number of quality scientific studies, published in journals with methodological review criteria, demonstrating the effectiveness of various behavioral procedures and techniques in reducing inappropriate behaviors, as well as in increase in the repertoire of appropriate behaviors and new skills, specifically in children with autism.
The methodology that accompanies us in the method seeks to identify the functional relationships between behavior and the environment. The application of ABA programming defines the Method in a complete, precise and systematic way. The procedures are linked and described in terms of basic principles of effective behavior and we seek to make behavioral changes meaningful for children and their families.
In general, an attempt is made to embrace a methodology that contains procedures that can be applied to many individuals in different places (Baer, Wolf and Risley, 1957). A treatment that contemplates and intervenes in all areas of the child's development affected, whether by defect or excess. A treatment is designed using basic learning principles. We thus achieve that the VICON Method has positive results in any child with learning, communication and socialization difficulties , even verbal children , because its methodology is based on the learning principles that are just how any other person without a disability learns.
The intervention program is aimed at the functional development of all critical areas in the child's development. In the designed programming, the skills to be taught are broken down into small learning particles ideal for the video format thus ensuring that the objectives are met in a wide variety of diagnostic profiles.
These intervention procedures and techniques have been and continue to be developed internationally through the research of thousands of ABA professionals . We use Positive Reinforcement integrated into the program itself, in our teaching through music and the great motivation that most children present through a video format . In this way, we can maintain an atmosphere of success in which the child's learning is much more likely.
