HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO WATCH THE VIDEO? The recommendation is to find 3 times a day and systematically play the video twice. The web platform already offers video blocking every 2 viewings that last an hour, although it is true that if we have been using the method for a few weeks or even if the Initial Evaluation Test has placed us in a more advanced phase of the method , we will have the possibility of put videos of lower levels.
CAN I PLAY THE VIDEO MORE TIMES? Taking into account that the recommended exposure is 6 times a day in 3 moments as separated as possible to provide effective stimulation, we find children who search or request the video more times . If we see that our child is this type of child, we have to act taking into account the following aspects:
- Be careful with obsessions: if we always agree to play the video more and more, we run the risk of our child becoming obsessed with the resource, being a constant VICON search engine and it is very important to regulate the use of screens at all times . This limitation will also help us avoid having problems due to constant video demand in the future and having to deal every day with the insistent demand for the video, thinking that this can happen 3 times a day and can be exhausting and unsustainable for any mother. father .
- On the other hand, if I still think I could put it on one more time during the day , perhaps on weekends or holidays or perhaps to share it with the grandparents when we visit, it is recommended that the adult be the one who proposes the viewing. so that you always exercise control over viewing and we do not have long-term behavioral problems. If the child asks for the video, we wait a few minutes doing something else even if it is provoked and then, perhaps as a reward , we propose one more viewing, so the control is completely the adult's and the child takes it as such.

WHAT OTHER TIMES CAN I PUT THE VIDEO ON? Choosing the ideal time for the child and his or her family is a very important aspect for correct acquisition of the habit and at a time when the child is most receptive to stimulation. We can play the video while we prepare food, while we clean up, in the bathroom, in the car while traveling, when playing freely, movie time with the lights off, just before going to sleep... Consistency in viewing determines the effectiveness of the method .
IS IT CORRECT TO PUT THE VIDEOS OF THE EATING METHOD? Whenever possible, mealtime will be done without video . It is a very rich and ideal time to work on autonomy skills, a taste for food, and time to share with the family. On the other hand, we sometimes find children with restricted interests who find it difficult to incorporate new things . BETTER BEFORE OR AFTER MEALS?
