Less prohibition and more education in the age of screens.

We live in a moment of mixed feelings , weeks with waves of digital mobilization ... against cell phones, screens, digital and technology. Less prohibition and more education in the age of screens. You all know that I am the co-founder of an online tool for children with special educational needs. As a mother, pedagogue and child therapist I have been able to see how technology is being addressed and I am far from the majority of discourses, measures and opinions that I read, see and hear.
If as professionals we are not willing to look at technology and integrate it organically into our lives. How are we going to ask our children to do it? If we do not take immediate measures we will be pendulums that move from end to end . We will find the middle point, which will arrive by trend, but late and with consequences.
Technology has transformed the way we live, work and relate. Prohibiting it would be like denying the light of knowledge. Our mission as educators is to support a comprehensive education that empowers people , especially children. Face the challenges and take advantage of the benefits of technology responsibly .
It's not just about protecting yourself from online risks , but about cultivating skills that promote conscious and ethical use. Time management, online privacy, truthfulness of information and respect in cyberspace to build a digitally competent and resilient society .
Fear of technology is a barrier that limits the potential of a digitally empowered future. Children are digital natives and their preparation to face the world must include strong digital skills . We must be informed guides, teaching children how to navigate this digital ocean with responsibility and discernment. By overcoming that fear through education , we open the doors to a world where technology is a valuable tool and not a threat .
Instead of banning screens, we have the opportunity to educate children on how to use them in a constructive and balanced way . Providing them with the necessary tools to become conscious digital citizens . Able to take advantage of the benefits of technology while maintaining a healthy connection with the world around them .
Digital health education is the key to forging a path to the future. See technology as an ally, not a threat, for the generations to come.
